What We Stand For
While diverse in expression, style, and particulars of theology, we share a united sense of calling, purpose and rootedness in the earth as sacred and alive.
We leave buildings to connect with the natural world to restore sacred relationship. As we began to find one another and connect, "wild church" blossomed into an organic, spirit-led and collaborative movement. We are a network of "churches" affiliated with many denominations and others who are not affiliated at all.
Some don't call themselves church at all, as the word itself can trigger wounds. Others find the word church to be nourishing as it becomes something very different outside of literal and theological walls.

Central to our practice is the commitment to environmental stewardship. We celebrate nature as a divine creation and invite everyone to explore their spirituality in harmony with the earth.

Our Story
Milwaukee Wild Church has three branches of service:
1 - to bring together like minded spiritual people in worship of nature
2 - to be a resource to any organized religious group who wish to discover ways to merge nature and spirituality in practice
3 - to host events where we can learn more about nature and spirituality
